Today's post isn't about the latest trend or the next best cosmetic product or showing the outfit I wore yesterday. It's about something bigger, something you can't put a price tag on and something that never goes out of style...FRIENDSHIP.
One of my most favorite blogging friends {you know who you are} were talking and she mentioned that during this time in her life she was trying to decipher who her "real" friends are. I think this is something all women go through.
You don't have to talk to someone every day on the phone, by text or email, for them to be considered a good friend. A "tried and true friend" is one that will be there for you no matter what {good or bad}...One that you may not see or talk to for months but can pick up right where you left off...One that may not always agree with you, but doesn't walk away...One that picks your butt off the floor and says, "Put Your Big Girl Panties on and Deal With It".
I know this first hand. I have been through a lot over the last year or so, and during that time I found out who my real friends were. They never left my side, even when it wasn't my finest moment. For that, I am grateful. I don't know where I would be without them.

I found a few quotes/sayings on Pinterest that I wanted to share with you. In my eyes, they solitify the true meaning of friendship. I know that we all go through times in our life when we wonder if we really have any "true friends". Just remember, being someone's friend is not one-sided or self-seeking. It's a job that you want to do your best at and work hard at...and something you always show up on time for.
Surround yourself with people who love YOU for YOU...not someone that they want you to be.

Cheers to new friends, old friends and most of all TRUE friends!
