I found this dress last weekend while shopping on 2nd Street in Austin. I don't make it into Urban Outfitters very often, so I must say I was a tad bit giddy. To my dismay, I was a slightly disappointed in their store offerings. Why is online so much better? I mean, if you sell something on the www, then please carry it in the store. Don't you know the ladies need to try it on, look in the mirror, twirl around a time or two, take a picture with their smarty phones and possibly bend over to ensure that a full moon doesn't appear during broad daylight? When are these people going to get it? I mean, online is fabulous if you don't actually have a storefront near you, but again...if you are going to sell it online...then sell it in the store. For the LOVE!
Any who, I was pretty pumped that I found this dress on sale for $39.99. I have actually been looking for a lace skirt that has a decent, non-hoochie-fied, hemline, but I still haven't gotten lucky. So, I settled for this lace dress instead. I guess it's really not settling because I think I just might be able to remix it into a skirt. Somehow. Some way. I will get creative.
Sorry, kids, I didn't see it online, but they had a ton left at the store in Austin. So hopefully, if you likey, your store my have a few left too. And did I mention that it came in a few other colors - turquoise, green, yellow and orange? It sure would look snazzy with that Blogger Bubble necklace everyone is wearing!
Let me know if you come across a cute lace skirt. I am looking for one that hits mid thigh or right above the knees. No hoochie. Please and thank you.

Shanna - How do you keep your necklaces from getting caught in the lace and ripping? I have a lace shirt that I love but I wore a necklace with it once and now it's got all the pulls in it... very sad.
I agree with you on the stores carrying things that they have online - it drives me mad!!! I'm not a big online shopper because I have a goofy body shape and I hate paying return shipping for things that don't fit. So it's definitely a bummer when I see something cute online and it's not in store! This dress is adorable - I love the blue with it - makes it pop!!

I feel the same way about stores and their online offerings. I always have to try on bottoms and I get mad when an online store tempts me with lovely offerings that I can twirl around in.
