Heeeeey! Howdy to all the new friends! I am blown away and thankful by the beautimous faces that have joined along for this little ride. If you are new to these parts, make yourself at home and grab yourself a Diet Dr. Pepper. There are plenty in the fridge. I tend to keep it relaxed and real here. No drama for your momma, usually nothing too serious or deep and anyone and everyone are always welcome. Just say and play nice. That's all I ask. Hope you don't mind.

So, I wore this yesterday for my Valentine's lunch rendezvous with Ross. I felt like if I didn't wear something red I was gonna get pinched. I know that is a St. Patrick's Day tradition, but I still had that mind set. We hit up our favorite sushi spot and enjoyed a little love day without the girls in tow. It was nice and much needed. If you live in the Austin area, I highly recommend Tomo Sushi. I have yet to put anything but deliciousness between my chopsticks.

Earlier this week I was going through a bunch of old pictures for the post I did for Landry's birthday. I came across some photos when I had shorter and lighter hair. It got me thinking that maybe I should do something different. I am in a hair funk, but every time I cut my hair I end up regretting it because it takes forever to grow. Ross likes it short, but I am on the fence. Here are a few pictures when it was shorter. What do you ladies think? You know how I need feedback and opinions. Keep it long? Cut it off? Go lighter? Oh, the decisions we have in life.

Some of you know that I had a style session with Taylor from Pink Heels Pink Truck this week. She loaded her entire closet (shoes and all) for a trip to visit me. It was so great meeting her in real life and we immediately hit it off. Okay, here is the deal. I am not gonna lie. This one was my biggest style challenges yet. Let me tell ya why. Taylor like heels. I'm talking five inch heels and 80% of her collection are just that. She is a minimalist when it comes to accessories and you know how much I love scarves, necklaces, bags, etc. So, I was a little nervous when we first started. I wanted to be sure that I was putting outfits together that Taylor liked and would actually wear. I had to step out of my personal style and mentally enter hers. This was a good thing. We all have different style preferences, body types, budgets and personalities and I want to be able to cater to all women, not just the ones who have the same tastes as me. Thankfully, Taylor was thrilled with the outcome and what we put together. It was a team effort and she offered her input the entire time. At the end of the day, I just wanted to create lots of new outfits with what she already owned...ones that she would be excited to wear. You can read her thoughts on how the session went. Here is a snip-it of what we did with her light pink skinny jeans. If you are interested in finding out more about what styling services I offer, local or out of town, just visit my Hire Me page.

For a quick second I thought today was Wednesday because this post ended up being completely random. That's kind of how my mind has been working lately.

Have fab weekend and do something fun! I am off to get ready for Landry's princess birthday ball. Once a princess always a princess.

P.S. In case today is the first time you are visiting this week, there are some pretty crazy giveaways going on right now. Make sure you check them out here, here and here.
