My body and brain are having a little bit of confusion because the green grass, sunny skies, light breeze and brisk temps that are currently happening in Austin. Could it be the first signs of spring or early fall? Regardless, I am as excited as a kid with a Happy Meal to finally wear a scarf. It's been since I don't know when that I have been able to wear one. If you have been reading for awhile, you know how much this girl loves a good piece of fabric around the 'ole neck.
The cool front came swooping through on Saturday afternoon while we were at the deer lease. It was glorious. So, as soon as we got back home on Sunday, I got "dressed" and we enjoyed the crisp air, got snow cones (who would of thought), strolled around downtown and grabbed some dinner outdoors, all without sweating. Texas, it's about time you got up to speed. Now, can you stick around for a while? No? I didn't think so. You are such a fair weathered friend.
Is your state bi-polar when it comes to weather? I think my Florida and California people know what I am talking about. You would think we would all be used to it by now.

I feel ya girl! It was in the 90's today but is supposed to finally dip below 70 (and maybe even rain) by Wednesday. Maybe I'll finally get to wear one of my Fall sweaters! =) Btw, you look so pretty in pink!

It was 85 here in Ohio yesterday and a high of 64 today! What the heck is that? We often skip seasons around here - usually spring or fall. But we soak up every hot day we get! South Carolina likes to mess with me...we were in the seventies steadily (which is cool for these parts) and then out of nowhere it jumped back up to high eighties!! Dislike. This morning I woke up to a cool seventy degree breeze and rain so I'm happy for the time being! Did I mention I cannot wait to move to VA where the weather is just a touch cooler?!
This pink blazer is too cute–and it's perfect paired with the skinnies...their color makes it a bit more "fall" (as does the addition of the scarf!). Hope you had a great weekend :)

I love the pink and gray together. And what a pretty scarf. You look gorgeous! Last week it was 80 degrees here and it was just so weird being warm and seeing autumn colored trees. It's back to normal temps now but we do get some of the weather weirdness every now and then!

I moved away from the cold and I like having only about 2 months where I can wear boots and scarves without sweating. I hate the cold... especially the bitter cold. Give me the warm sun any day :)
