I wore this outfit last night for one of my best friend's birthday dinner. I have also worn this houndstooth jacket two other times since I picked it up on Black Friday. I was on the fence about it at first, but so happy that I talked myself into it. It has definitely surpassed the whole cost per wear challenge.

Actually everything I am wearing today has gotten lots of attention. This sweater from Old Navy has been thrown on umpteen times since it came home with me (I own the blue one too). I have layered it with numerous coats, blazers and worn it over plaid oxfords. The faux leather half pants/half leggings have made there rounds lately and even got to see Beyonce on stage Monday night. I wish Forever 21 still had them available because I would demand all of you to snag a pair. I did find some great options linked above. Moving onto my Fergalicous boots. I love typing that word....it makes my laugh a little, but they were a find that I am mighty proud of.
I am starting to get a little better at actually wearing things in my closet more than twice. I think it has something to do with Labor Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping remorse. When mid December rolls round I am actually focusing on buying things for people other than myself and in full gift giving mode. For instance, I knocked out 75% of my Christmas shopping yesterday, hit about seven stores, one being Target, and did not buy one single thing for myself. Swear! Also, I am sure we will embrace spring-like weather in Texas in about two months, so my shopping funds are in slight hibernation and resting up for the upcoming season.
I hope everyone has a great weekend full of holiday treats, festivities, good company and sassy, sparkly dresses!
