This was the first full weekend in four weeks that we were actually at
home. It was a breath of fresh air to relax, see a movie, get things
done around the house and go to church. I finally got all our Christmas
decorations down which was seriously an all day ordeal. I know, January
10th is quite embarrassing, but like I said we have been on the road and
just couldn't muster the energy to do it during a week day.

Speaking of taking down the decor, it stirred up more dust than I care to ever see and breathe in again. Holy Mother of Sneeze Fest, I think I achoo-ed approximately 200 times this weekend. Between the crazy cedar fever going on here in Austin and those devilish dust mites, my nose is raw, eyes are puffy and lips are chapped. So, don't be surprised if you see sunglasses in every single post this week.
I wore this stripe/camo combo to the movies Saturday. Our girls both had a Girl Scouts lock-in which meant a FREE babysitter for us. We took full advantage and headed to see Lone Survivor. I posted on Facebook that I didn't have honorable words enough to describe the movie. All I can say is God Bless America, our service men and women, the fallen heroes and their families. I almost had to walk out three different times because I emotionally lost it. I had a general idea about the movie and all the buzz and interviews that have been broadcasted, but never in a million year did I think I would be hit so hard with emotion. I highly recommend seeing it or reading the book (which I plan to do). I will warn all of you, it's tough to stomach, hard core, raw, real, but one I truly believe every American should see.
The dress I am wearing sold out during the Forever 21 50% off clearance sale (still going on now and that I posted about late Friday afternoon). I knew it would go fast, but have no fear, I found a few options for you guys in case you like the style. Also, you can always check your local store. They may have some left. I am wearing a size medium. The small probably would have fit my waist better, but I think it would have been too short.
Here are three ways have worn my camouflage utility jacket. I am loving this link up that Lauren from Fizz & Frosting started. It's a great way to refresh my mind on how I wore things in the past and for you to get ideas from other bloggers. Go check some of the ladies that are playing too.

P.S. Don't forget about the $40 giveaway to Avery Lane Boutique.
