This is me, in all my Texas, home grown roots, glory. Yes, I love wearing heels, all things trendy, sassy, classic, streamlined and girly, but at the end of the day, slipping on a pair of cowgirl boots just seems to put me into my element. This right here, is Shanna.

If you live in Texas, you know that we are all gearing up for rodeo and livestock show season. I love a good dose of boots, broncs and bulls, but what really gets me most excited are the concerts and musicians that perform after every rodeo.
Which leads me to my next ramble. You see, iHeartRadio recently announced that they are bringing a Country Festival to Austin. Austin, you say? How in the world did my city score such an incredible, everyone wants to go show? Not sure, but I am beside myself with excitement...or I was up until Saturday.
I tried Thursday morning to score presale ticket to the iHeartRadio Country Fest with so such luck. They sold out in less than 15 minutes. No worries. I will try again on Saturday when the tickets go on sale to the public. I stopped everything I was doing, made sure my calendar was clear and hopped online before 11:00 AM which was the time tickets went on sale. I tried and tried...and cried...and had my toes crossed...and refreshed my computer screen a million times. I had multiple browsers open...I felt like a sports bookey. Thirty minutes passed....no tickets. I tweeted iHeart Radio to see if they were sold out. They immediately replied and said, "NO...keep trying...", so I did. Then my heart dropped and stomach tumbled....SOLD OUT! NOOOOOO! What???? Tears....sweats...anger...and pure defeat.
Sooooo, to make a very short story long, I am now going to email, Tweet and Facebook iHeartRadio, Bobby Bones and Clear Channel Radio every day until the show. You know why? I will tell you.
My goal is to be the official style blogger for the Country Festival. I will report fashion/street style of concert goers for the event. I can snap pictures and share what all the ladies are wearing. Give ideas for country concert style and stay up to the minute on all the behind the scene details before and after the show. I will tweet, Facebook, Instagram, create style boards on my blog before the festival. I can be the Giuliana Rancic of the iHeart Radio Country Fest or whatever iHeartRadio wants me to be.
What do I wear to iHeartRadio Country Fest? I am sure that will be a question hundreds of women will ask because this is the hottest ticket in town. All the ladies are going to want to put their best boot forward and I am here to help. Here is just one idea that came to mind....

I may not be in radio or a popular television personality, but I do know country concert style. I also have a pretty amazing group of readers and friends here on this blog and in social media world that will be on board leading up to the big night's event.
Can someone help a sister out and let iHeartRadio know that you think of this is a magical idea and that you will follow along starting today all the way until March 29th? I would totally go grab some tickets from the greedy scalpers that pretty much consumed the majority of them, but this girl can't swallow paying $200 per ticket for the nose bleed section.
And in case you are wondering why I am the new crazy lady in town, posting so desperately and begging...let me share the line up in case you don't know:
Luke Bryan, Jason Alden, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line and Dan + Shay, plus they are adding more!
If you are any kind of country music fan, you know this is insane. I need to be there. It is in my backyard and I know that I would do a dang good job promoting fashion/style ideas before the show, share what the hottest ladies in the U.S. are wearing the night of and give a full recap after the show.
Anyone want to help me? iHeartRadio? Bobby Bones? Clear Channel? Country Festival employees? Bueller?
I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I will work it to the bone, get fans involved and make you guys proud. Oh my heavens, I have so many more ideas, but don't want to share all my goods in one post. Hopefully someone, anyone will email me with interest so I can send my overflowing list of brainstorming goodness their way!
