Over the last few weeks I have had the opportunity to try out numerous beauty and cosmetic products. Even though my blog is primarily focused on fashion and personal style, I am a self proclaimed product junkie. You should see my bag of glosses and lipsticks. It's almost a sin.
Today I am sharing seven bombshell beauty and cosmetics products that you definitely need to either try, research or add to your wish list. I have personally used six of them, but added a seventh because I really need it in my life as of late.
CoverGirl Bombshell Shine Shadow - This tube is sold in six different shimmery colors. I tried the Ice Queen shade. I am not going to lie. I have been pretty loyal to Urban Decay shadows over the last several years, but I am REALLY loving this creamy consistency. It dries super fast and has subtle sparkle. Most powder shadows that have some sort of glitter in them get all over my face and I end up looking like a fairy princess. Not this one. It stays put and blends really well. A little goes a long way.
Whish Deodorant Swipes - The box I received included eight swipes. The normal, non-sample size includes thirty. I packed a few in my bag when I was traveling and after nervous meetings these came in handy for a quick refresher in the restroom. They are also perfect to throw into a gym bag after a workout or into your clutch for an evening out. They could be fun for stocking stuffers, bridesmaids at your wedding or sprinkled in a gift basket. It has a light fresh scent.
Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick - I mentioned this little number in a post a week ago, but I had to include it again. I am obsessed with the Sweet Watermelon shade. I also tried Bright Berry and love it just the same. To be clear, these are not true lip stains, more of a subtle color that really does what it says it does....moisturizes and softens. The tint does last longer than most glosses. My lips feel so smooth every time I put them on. The color sticks can also be worn as a cheek stain. Two for one! No sharpener required.
Fabulips Pout-O-Matic by Bliss - Magical. Comical, but magical. I felt a little silly rotating the device on my lips, but well worth it. My lips were so soft, smooth and I definitely noticed a difference in the way my lip color glided on without any cracks and creases. I don't think you necessarily need the powered buffer to achieve smoother lips, but it does help with the exfoliating process. A definite must for winter months.
Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil Shampoo - I was a little hesitant to put this one on the list because of it's price tag, BUT since this isn't an everyday shampoo it will last and will be worth the money in the long run. I have extremely oily hair. I use conditioner, root boost and hair spray almost every single day. That is a lot of build up. I washed my hair with Shu Uemura yesterday and was amazed. My hair felt so light, clean, smooth and shiny. Read the reviews...I am not the only fan of this one. I have searched high and low for a cleansing shampoo and this one is the winning ticket. I plan on using it every two weeks for a deep cleanse of oil and build up.
CoverGirl Bombshell Intensity Liner - 100% sold on this one. I first applied to my hand to see how fast it dried and the type of line it produced. In about 2.2 seconds I rubbed my finger across the streak and it did not budge. The drying time blew my mind. I have tried a few pen liners and always had to keep my eyes closed for a minute so the color didn't shift below my brow. This one is perfect for a cat eye. It comes in two shades, black and deep chocolate. Give it try!
Burt's Bees Dark Spot Corrector - This is the one I haven't had enough time to give a full report on. I love all the products I have used from Burt's Bees and I am hoping that after eight weeks I will notice a difference. I began using it last night and only rubbed it into the areas where I have discolored pigmentation from sun damage and acne scaring. The reviews are mixed, but I am willing to give it a whirl. Have any of you ladies used this or have one that you swear by?
Also, I am always intrigued to hear what your new beauty finds are. If you have stumbled across any recent ones that you have added to your routine, please let me know. Recommendations from friends are the best kind.
All of the items listed today were gifted from an event or through a PR agency. I was not compensated by the brands or companies. All opinions are my own and only post products that I 100% believe in.

Cynthia Rowley's eyeliner is a miracle. I am also very much into clinique dark spot corrector and clairin's hydro-plus moisturizer.
These look like some great products! I am going to try the eye shadow and I have been searching for a dark spot corrector too! I still love Bare Minerals' Buxom - those are my favorites(: Susan
I've been wanting to try that Burt's Bees corrector and just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. I think I need to do that sooner rather than later.
And I haven't heard about those Neutrogena sticks yet, clearly they're getting added onto my to-buy list. Thanks!

Loving Paula's Choice BHA 2% liquid, Trader Joe's oatmeal and ginger soap, Aveeno firming body lotion...I could go on, which makes me think I should do one of these posts myself! hahaha
After I saw your post on Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick I picked up Sweet Watermelon when I was at WalMart, and totally love it. Thank you for the recommendation. I recently started using the Maybeline Color Tattoo eyeshadow, and it is great. I had been using smashbox eyeshadow, but I liked the color tattoo so much have not used my smashbox.
I'm so interested in trying that new line of Burt's Bees products!
I may have to check out that Neutrogena color stick! Love that you can use it as a cheek stain too!

Those travel deodorant wipes are genius! I would carry them in my bag always, for the days I forget to put on deodorant and I'm on the way to the gym and I panic;)
I was totally skeptical of the Fabulips and going to give it a try now. I just started using the Burt's Bee and hope it works too!

You've got me sold on that eyeliner. It looks like everything I've ever needed :)
I really want to try that Shu Uemura shampoo!
This is great, I also love hearing what everyone else uses in the beauty department. I have been a recent lover of the Maybeline Line Stiletto but now might try the cover girl one you mentioned!
My recent find that I have been loving is the Anastasia Brow Wiz...never knew what filling in my brows did until I brought it and I now I feel naked without it!

My new rave is Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24-Hour Cream Eye Shadow. This stuff wears like IRON. I put it on in the morning and it still looks great at night when I take it off with eye makeup remover. No creases, and once it sets you can't wipe or smear it with your fingers. The colors look very intense, but they blend well for a much lighter color. I'm not their target market on this (I'm over 50), but I still think these are a great product.
I love the idea of those deo wipes - perfect for summer! And I'll have to check out that liner, I'm in the market for a new one!
I really want to try the intensity liner!
I love that all of these are fairly affordable, too! :)
I kinda want to try that poutomatic.
I haven't even really looked through all of my LuckyFabb swag yet but I did see that lip polisher and can NOT wait to give it a try! Miss you!

I'm going to have to try that eyeliner now! Thanks for sharing!
Just came across your blog and I love it !! =] I just started mine and would love if you checked it out! and now i really wan an try the electric lip thing!
I've been using the Burt's Bees corrected since February, usually every other day or so cause it kind of dries my skin out. It actually kind of lightened my whole face about 2 shades. I am usually "light" but now I am "fair-light." So, yeah the dark spots are fading but so is the rest of the skin. I prefer the Clinique dark spot correcter but BB's has a better price tag. I'm just going to put it on in patches from now on and see how it goes.
