Lucky Girl

I fully intended on giving a recap today on the last three-and-a-half days in California, but I got in late, spent the last few hours of Sunday with my family and snuggled up on the couch to watch the Academy of Country Music Awards. Priorities, people. I need to sit and digest everything from LuckyFABB. I don't want to leave any details out. I have to find a way to share every single morsel of it with you guys, but also make sure that I document the experience for myself to look back upon ten-twenty years from now.

Express Top on sale! (matching skirt) (coupon codes for Express) // Express Floral Pencil Skirt sold out (option here and here) // Daily Look Heels (option here and here) // Vintage Chain Necklace (option here and here) // Lookbook Store Necklace c/o // Forever 21 Bag (option here and here) // Michael Kors Watch c/o The Jeweler's Wife // Lilac Bijoux Bow Bangle c/o sold out (option here and here)

All I could muster up today were outfit pictures taken by my roomie, Jenn. I wore this floral and stripe pattern combo Friday to the LuckyFABB conference. I also have to give love to Kimberly for inspiring me through back and forth texts on what I should wear on the first day. She encouraged me to step outside my "style box". Planning outfits for a blogger conference can get a wee bit stressful and overwhelming, to say the least.

I promise to report back on the conference, share some great tips for blogging, give full insight on the event, chat about the crazy amounts of fun we had and brag on all the amazing ladies that I got to hug in real life.

I might be blurry eyed as I am typing right now and not have a functional mind, but there is not a single person that can wipe the smile off my face. This weekend was one I will cherish forever and never forget. As crazy as some think it is, blogging truly brings people together from all over the country and forms lasting friendships. If someone would have told me that I would find true friends through an online journal, I would have laughed in their face. Stesha and I are walking poster children for this very thing. We are going on two-and-a-half years of texts, inside jokes, hours of chat sessions, laughs and most recently, roommates. This blogging thing is real, genuine, mind blowing and has become something I truly hold near and dear to my heart. I am one lucky lady and will never take one single memory, opportunity or experience for granted.

Stay tuned....more to come on Wednesday
