A couple of weekends ago I casually passed by a girl wearing a pair of banana leaf botanical pants. I literally stopped her in her tracks and complimented on how much I loved her outfit. Ever since then, I have been on an online treasure hunt to try and find a similar pair, ones that were affordable and fit my style. After several days of searching and not being able to get the mental picture of her adorable outfit out of my mind, I think I finally found what I've been daydreaming about. How sad is it to daydream about botanical inspired clothes rather than a botanical style vacation?
Top Right: Chambray Top // Banana Leaf Pants // Aviator Glasses // Fedora Hat // Bucket Bag (on sale) // Converse Shoes
Bottom Left: Crop Top // Banana Leaf Pants // Necklace // Leaf Earrings // Gold Cuff // Yellow Bag // Metallic Flats
Bottom Right: Tank // Tassel Necklace (on sale) // Banana Leaf Pants // Lip Color // Kate Spade Sunglasses (on sale) // Clutch // Gold Cuff // Ankle Strap Sandals
I came upon a pair from Dorothy Perkins that foot the bill. Before I pull the trigger, I want to be sure that I can foresee at least three ways to wear said pants. After spending way too many hours creating outfits in my head and on my computer, I think talked myself into them. Not shown, a vintage white tee and flip flops that are worn on an imaginary seaside getaway.
Maybe I am just longing for school to be out and summer to be in full swing, but right at this moment I am swayed by any and all styles that encompass exotic tropics with bright, vibrant green leaves.
Daydreaming all over again and again and again.
Below are a few other tropical prints and patterns that caught my eye as well. Let's all daydream together.
