Tuesday's "Day at the Beach" post had me craving for more prints with fruit. I blame it on the lemon print swimsuit top I discovered while browsing online. Why is it that any sort of vibrant, ripe and ready piece of fruit reminds me of warm, sunny days? Is it just me or do they play with your senses too?

I couldn't help myself to dig a little deeper for more fruit inspired prints and patterns. I started with ModCloth (coupon code) and they didn't disappoint. They seem to always offer fresh, one-of-a-kind and distinct pieces. I came across a handful of original produce printed tops, dresses and accessories all for $100 or less. My fruitful voyage continued and led me to Nordstrom, TopShop and a few other newly discovered online shops like Shoptiques. I hadn't heard of this retailer before and I spent a good forty-five minutes browsing. This could be dangerous.
Even though I would love to add everything I found to my summer wardrobe, I was especially smitten with the watermelon and strawberry tanks, peplum cami and Forever 21 cherry tote.
Now I am daydreaming of preparing a colorful fruit salad, packing it up in a picnic basket with a bottle of champagne and a red checkered blanket and peddling down a tree lined street on a bicycle with a woven basket attached to the front. I am a dreamer. What can I say?
