I have never been one to spend hundreds of dollars on a single bag. Would I love to own a Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada or Celine? Of course, one day, as long as it comes with zero guilt or buyer's remorse.
I enjoy having options and because my tastes tend to often change, I have opted to purchase more affordable bags in a variety of sizes, styles, colors and prints. Just like any other accessory, a bag can complete an entire outfit and bring simple looks to life.
As much as I love clutches, satchels and cross body styles, I am a bigger fan of totes, especially during the summer months when more traveling comes into play. Whether we are flying or taking a road trip, I always reach for one of my tote bags (this one from Forever 21 in particular). It's just easy to carry all my necessities and extras in one place without items being crammed and hard to find. After my wallet, cosmetic bag, iPhone, car keys and a few pairs of sunglasses, I still have plenty of room for a few magazines, snacks, camera, chargers and my iPad.
