Summer Schedule

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday over the last few days. I am sorry I was MIA with emails, comments and on social media, but we have been non-stop over the last few days. I wanted to unplug a little to enjoy the last day of school with my kids, hang out with family and friends, enjoy the first days of summer break and come to terms with turning another year older. Okay, kidding about that last one...well, sort of. This birthday is one that will go down as my most special because our niece was born. I have a birthday buddy!! Talk about the greatest gift of all. I can't wait to meet and to share birthdays with her for the rest of my days.

My girls and I plan to spend this first week of being out of school adjusting. Me adjusting to them being home all day and them adjusting to not being entertained every single moment during the day. It's a balancing act; a trying one at times. I am looking forward to having them home and spending one-on-one time together over the next few months. I have stressed about how I was going to keep up my blog and still give them the attention that they deserve. After going back and forth, I have decided that during their summer break, I am going to post three days a week instead of five.

Some weeks might be more, but you can definitely count on me being here Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I don't want to look back and regret missing out on this stage in their lives. Right now they think I am cool, but the teenage years will come quickly and I won't be near as impressive. I am going to take advantage of this time in our lives and soak it all in...the sunshine included.

So, I will see you ladies on Wednesday!
