Summer Denim + Miriam Merenfeld $200 Giveaway

Laura with Walking in Memphis in High Heels, Erin with The Fashion Canvas and I styled three ways to wear denim during the summer months. I wore this comfortable and laid back look last weekend while we celebrated Father's Day at Ross's family ranch. The summer heat has been here for a few weeks and long pants aren't an option on most days, if I want to stay cool. I own four pair of denim shorts and constantly have them all on repeat. I have had really good luck finding lightweight denim material at Old Navy and Target. They both have a great selection of styles and lengths. 

This outfit was the perfect mix for spending the evening on the pier and fishing with the family. We love spending time out there year round, but something about the warm summer nights by the tank always seem to be my favorite. Sunday we threw on our swimsuits and took a dip in water to cool off. Ross has been swimming in this little hole since he was a kid and he said having his girls finally join him was his best Father's Day afternoon yet. It's the simple things in life. Right?
