I mentioned a week or so ago about my Forever 21 fall haul and shared this jacket with you. (I am so sorry! It's sold out now, BUT here is a super similar one in tweed). I can't take the credit for finding it all on my own. My good friend Jenn got one last year and informed me that it was back in stock again. Thanks, Jenn for helping me spend money.
I went straight for it as soon as the weather cooled down earlier this week. I also immediately slipped on my grey ankle boots that I have been hunting for what seems like forever. Another treasure? I finally found a feather trim hat. Old Navy had one last season, but it sold out. I told myself if I came across another one I wouldn't let it slip away again. I found the one I am wearing today at Nordstrom and it's less than $40. It's safe to say all three items are "I wore them as soon as I could" pieces and ones I can't wait to wear again...together and separately.
And because it seems like I subject I mention in every post, the weather has been glorious the last few days. Yesterday morning was in the 50s. That is practically freezing if you live in Texas. The afternoons have been filled with sunny skies, zero humidity and cool breezes. The only complaint I have is my allergies. I woke up Monday morning with a sore throat and have blown my nose at least 100 times. I guess it's a give and take situation, but I am willing to suffer a little for weather like this. Let's just hope it sticks around.
