Polka Dot Lane

I have been looking at and browsing through the SheInside website for over a year now. Honestly, I have always been skeptical (until now) because the pieces are from overseas and the cuts/fits worried me. I took a chance when I was offered to pick a few items to style. I made a promise to myself that I would not post if I didn't like what was sent to me, but here I am sharing two pieces (belted coat and flair polka dot skirt) that I am head over heels for. 

Both are great for remixing with other items from my closet. I have been searching for a tan wrap coat for quite some time and this one is warm for the winter, but light enough for warmer months. Does that make sense? And the skirt? I swore I wouldn't add another flair midi skirt to my wardrobe, but when I saw this geometric pattern I couldn't resist. The fabric and texture are higher quality than expected. It definitely looks and feels more expensive than it's price tag (less than $25!!). I love that it fits above my waist offering a slimming illusion. Score! For reference, I am wearing a size medium in both the skirt and coat). I would definitely size up on SheInside bottoms, but feel that the tops and coats run true to size.
