Floral Canvas

What can I say, the weather has been calling for spring. I might end up biting my tongue, but the past seven days have specifically indicated the words, "Goodbye, Winter. Helllllllo, Spring!!" Believe me, I am not pretending...the sunshine and temperatures in Texas are for real! My girls even asked if they could go swimming. Of course I told them to hold their horses and that a sprinkler in the front yard would have to suffice...for right now.

All we want to do is play outside, roll the windows down, keep the house open all day, take long walks and soak in every single morsel of this unexpected February weather. I am still in shock. We all are. Last year at this time we were literally FREEZING. I am not complaining though!

When the forecast calls for sunny, clear skies and temps above 60, you immediately grab for light weight pieces, ones that scream NEW SEASON!!

I am off to finish up Landry's Valentine's Day birthday extravaganza! We have lots of little ladies hopping off the bus today, headed for our house. So much to do...so little time.

Happy Valentine's Day!! Ross and I have a little rendezvous scheduled at the movies with the number 50 in it. I cannot wait. Ross on the other hand, is taking one for the team. :)
