With the the first day of Spring less than two weeks away, I wanted to resurrect Trend Watch Tuesdays. I used to share these type of posts several months ago, but when I cut my blogging back to three days a week, they fell to the wayside.
I know many of you are gearing up to add to & spring clean your closets for the warmer months. I also get questions from friends and readers about staple pieces to add each season along with what the latest trends are.
I am by no means a style/trend guru. I am pretty much just like you...I read magazines, search the internet and read blogs, so trends I share are probably not going to be big news to most of you. Unfortunately, the items most magazines feature exceed my shopping budget.
If you are a savvy shopper and looking to add a few new pieces to your wardrobe this season, I plan to share some of the latest trends that you can easily add to your closet; all less than $100.
Today's first Spring 2015 trend is gingham prints. I have been a fan of this play on plaid for years. I am not quite sure who decided this would be one of this season's must have patterns, but I am 100% on board. Gingham is perfect for mixing and matching, office appropriate, weekend casual simplicity and a foundation for a multitude of styles.
I have rounded up some of my favorite gingham finds below, but my top three have to be this retro swimsuit, cap-toe espadrilles and stretch waistband pants....anything that stretches is a grand slam in my book!

Dress // Swimsuit // Skirt // Clutch // Heels // Pants // Sunglasses // Top // Scarf // Espadrilles // Luggage Tag
Below are a few ways I have incorporated gingham into my own personal style.
