I have had the hardest time finding a romper that doesn't show my "cheeks", is flattering, appropriate for my age and style preference. I swear I have probably tried on a few dozen and almost gave up.
I am so glad that persistence paid off and that I didn't throw in the towel with romping around this summer.
I found a palm print and embroidered chambray romper at Old Navy the other day. I was actually looking for a last minute dress for dinner last weekend. I unexpectedly stumbled upon these two and didn't have time to try them on in the dressing room. I am pretty consistent with my sizing at Old Navy and just grabbed them both, hoping they would fit. YES! They did and better than I expected. I came so close to having buyer's remorse after checkout, but was super pleased with the fit and length. Both are long enough for my taste and are super comfortable for running around this summer with my girls and even for evenings out with friends.
If you've been in the same boat when it comes to finding a romper long enough to cover up your backside, I definitely recommend checking out the options at Old Navy.
When the temps have already hit over 90 degrees, you find and purchase pieces that are loose fitting, comfy and lightweight (and cute, of course)...bring on the heat!
Old Navy Palm Print Romper // Gap Factory Wedges (very similar options here, here and here) // Clare V Leopard Clutch c/o // Gold Tassel Necklace (almost identical and similar here) // Forever 21 Sunglasses (option here) // Kendra Scott Aussie Open Ring // Cross Ring // Kendra Scott Roni Cuff
P.S. Here is the a peek at the embroidered chambray romper I posted on Instagram earlier this week.
P.P.S. I purchased a size small in both rompers. I am 5'7 and have a small chest. :)
